Subic Island Hopping in the Parola Island and White Castle
Finally, the last update for our Subic Experience!
Before anything else, I forgot to post the snapshot of the beautiful sunset (well, almost sunset) during our first day stay in Subic. So, I'll be posting it now. Oh, it was also a request of a friend that I take a picture of the sunset. Here it is!
Such a magnificent and scenic view right? This is the time when we truly appreciate the grandeur of God's Creation.
7:30 am. Rise and shine! I woke up and had my breakfast, but unfortunately I forgot had that time. Too bad for my memory. Actually, nothing exciting happened during the few hours after my feasting on our meal. So, I'm just going to press fast forward.
This was the first island we went to:
Parola Island! The real downer about this is you need to pay additional Php 20 per head, but, anyway, it was completely worth it.
The place was really nice! I could say that it is really well-preserved and maintained, so I guess that's where the additional 20 pesos go to. Not bad right?
I suggest that if you plan to go to this island, bring your aqua shoes because you might come accross some sharp stones and rocks which happened to me, unfortunately. Rotten luck!
The second island was:

The Subic Island Hoping
The "main" agenda for the day was to go for an island hopping (which was rather lame since we only got to visit two islands). This was the first island we went to:

On the Parola Island of Subic - a breathtaking view indeed! |

White Castle Island! But I'm still thinking why it was named White Castle Island. I am aware that answer is not pretty obvious.
For this one, you will really enjoy the scene and the view but it was not as great as the first place. What's good about this place is that you no longer need to pay extra. However, though, it has its own consequences - the place was not well-preserved! Too bad!
See what I mean? The place is vandalized already (which diminished its appeal).
Now, here's a picture of me sitting on the rocks of the said island. Cool, huh?
What I practically liked about the two islands was the crystal-clear water.Seriously.
Anyway, the activity took us about 3 hours in total, so we headed to the cafeteria of the resort and ate lunch which I pretty much enjoyed especially their Caldereta (Ooh, I miss it so bad.)
So by the time we were eating, mom checked out of the place we were staying. Aww. :(
This was a sign that we were almost ready to go home. But since we were already there at Subic, we "extracted" the best out of it.
We went to Duty Free Stores to shop for chocolates! Hooray for dark chocolates! And essentially, that was it - the entire trip!
It was officially "ended" by a dinner in Meat Plus where we had burgers! Cool.
A suggest that you visit this place as well, it's really popular - you shouldn't miss it.
This marks the end of my Subic Experience series! I hope you enjoyed reading it, and got some info bits as well!
