It has been almost four months since I was "released" into the real world from the gates of De La Salle University, and I have to admit, I'm missing the university life - all the semi-carefree life, idle moments and freedom to commit errors (well partly, I'm still living this life as a reviewee but it will soon be over too). However, one of the prominent things I've been missing is the good food around the campus.

Hence, when we were given an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the food scene of DLSU, we celebrated! I've posted about this restaurant before, but this will be about a different branch (although still near DLSU).

A Better Branch
There are two Tori Box branches in DLSU campus. The first one is in One Archer's Place, and the other one is here in this location (Agno Street). However, the better branch is the latter due to a brighter interior and wider space.

Now, here's a glimpse of what Tori Box can offer. Of course, the famous dish (which is an on-the-go snack) is the Kara-Age Pop!

The Kara-Age Pop is actually a no-brainer. It's simply small bites of chicken meat deep fried and then seasoned with artificial flavors. However, people just can't resist the temptation of unique blend of flavors (be it artificial). Students just love the excitement of the kiss of flavors in their bite-sized chicken!

For you to assess the amount of serving, I've placed the content on a plate:

For P75, I will say that it was more than good enough! As a snack, the Double Serving is already good for two. Hence, if you are on a tight budget, you may have someone to share with.

On a personal note, eating the Kara-Age Pop was nostalgic! Memories from my college days just poured in. Hence, even if it was unhealthy, I still indulged myself with it.

Anyway, I just want to share the photos actually, and of course share with you this place once more!

  2. Hello there Flira! Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to meet the owner of Tori Box. Let's hope that he replies here, but since that may not be likely, you may want to drop a message on their Facebook page. :D
