April 6, 2013 - After our comprehensive exam for Management Accounting 1, we went to the announcement of the new set of officers for the EconOrg A.Y. 2013-2014. And after that, we stayed in the amphitheater to hang out with the JPIA Artist Guild people (since we didn't have anything to do during that time). And feeling so adventurous, we decided to tag along with Alyssa, Sophia (Yapi - I hope I spelled her nickname correctly) and Lina in going to the Mall of Asia.
And that's when we ended up in Ravioli when we decided to eat afterwards.

The Place
I rated the place 3.5 out of 5 because it wasn't that comfy and relaxing. But what I appreciate about the place was the music, albeit old songs, that they were playing because it somehow helped making the ambiance a bit cozier. Here's a photo of my friends who I was with.

The Food
We were really hungry during that time since it was already 8:00pm (and I didn't have any snacks in the afternoon). So, we tried to order faster so that they will be able to take and serve our orders as soon as possible. But unfortunately, it still took us a while before we were able to finalize our orders. Anyway, the first one up was a

Because it looked really appetizing, my expectations were built up. And luckily, on my first slice, I was able to enjoy it, since it was pretty warm that time. But when I went for the second one, I just noticed that it wasn't that great. Probably, it was because it wasn't that warm anymore when I ate it. Or maybe I wasn't that hungry anymore which gave me the opportunity to scrutinize the taste. But regardless, the more slices I took, the more I realized that it really wasn't that special. Yeah, that's diminishing marginal utility, and it diminished really fast.

Now, let's proceed with the other dish that I had,
Salmon Ravioli in Saffron Cream Sauce (P230):

For this one, again, it was "okay" but I was really expecting for it to be better. And it was slightly disappointing because the flavors didn't seem to reinforce each other. In fact, there were times when I had to pause for a while in order to comprehend the taste because I can't seem to figure it out where the flavors were heading. Plus, the texture of the dish didn't help much either.
So, all in all, my experience was just plain "okay" with no hint of being special. I just hope that the other dishes are different. And this ends my blog post. Check out the rating overview below.
