CENTRO PARK KITCHEN near UST brings you P35+ meals!
As previously mentioned in my last post, I am currently exploring the food scene around University of Santo Tomas (UST) area. Hence, here is another addition to my soon-to-be-compiled UST-España Food Trip Collection (well, that is if I get to accumulated a sufficient number of posts).
Here in this blog post, I'm going to try something different. As you may know (or not), in all my previous posts, I was able to personally taste the food of the restaurants/food places that I blogged about. However, this post is something unusual because I will blog about Centro Park Kitchen without actually tasting the food (but I might someday).
To cut the long story short, we weren't in the mood munching in the dishes offered here, but some of our friends were. Hence, we decided to try something else which happened to be Nitz Restaurant.
Centro Park Kitchen - The Place
The place is very easy to spot because of the sign you'll see (shown in the photo above). However, let me warn you, Centro Park Kitchen can't accommodate large groups wanting to dine-in because of limited seating capacity. (Limited is even an understatement). Just check this photo out, and be the judge.
No, there are no seats outside, and don't tell me there might be some secret doors that will lead me to a larger room filled with tables and chairs because certainly I won't believe you. But, uhmmmm, are there really any?

Not good for dine-in - maybe Centro Park Kitchen was designed for take-outs |
Kidding aside, I believe that it is more practical to have your food taken out, or have it delivered (if you live nearby).
Centro Park Kitchen Menu
Just in case you want to order, here is a snapshot of the menu.
As mentioned, I won't be able to give out any comments about the food (except those involving the sight/appearance alone). Anyway, these are some of the dishes my friends ordered:
Pork Tocino with Garlic Rice || P40 || P50 (with egg)
Apparently, even if you order for dine-in, the food will still be placed in a disposable container, but I don't have any problem with that. Moving on, I think you'll agree with me that the serving for the tocino is less than what's acceptably "okay". Also, the overall appearance isn't so appealing, but considering the price, I don't think we have much of a right to complain.
Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice || P45 || P55 (with egg)
Luckily, this one looked more decent than the tocino. In fact, it looks appealing enough to given delight. Hopefully, it did to my friends. However, come to think of it, TOTO'S Eatery seems to offer a better bargain.

Recommended? Well, since I wasn't able to give it a try, I have no option but to disclaim which means I am giving no opinion about the matter. *accountancy geek mode*
All I can say is that the food looks decent (i.e. appearance) considering the price. So, if you are a little bit living on a tight budget, this may just do (i.e. budget-wise).
