TGI Friday's New Branch in Greenbelt 3, Makati

Two days before the year shifted from 2013 to 2014, we decided to return home from province to tour some of our cousins in Makati, as well as to see the Ayala Triangle Gardens' Lights & Sounds. Anyway, we had a hard time finding a place to eat until we saw a new branch of TGI Friday's in Greenbelt 3. It literally solved our problem!

Actually, I blogged about Fridays twice already excluding this one, but this just shows how much we love eating in this place! What I'm about to share with you are dishes we had, including one or two new additions to the Friday's menu.

Unlike the previous ones we visited before (e.g. Glorietta and Robinsons Ermita), this branch features a more modern interior with less of the dreariness and more of the luminous ambiance.

Because I already tried a bunch of salad dishes before, I don't easily get impressed so easily anymore. Well, this was okay with various combination of ingredients, but I found the distinct sweetness and citrus taste way over than what I deem sufficient.

This is definitely an "almost-favorite" of mine (well except for the nachos). I just love how exciting the buffalo chicken was because of its tolerable but fun spiciness. Plus, the chicken wasn't bad either. It got the crisp that I wanted, and the dip was complementary.

This new dish failed to tickle my taste buds due to the dull taste. However, I was able to note a hint of spiciness that added a small spark. This was suppose to make this dish "okay" until I noticed that the taste of shrimp was negligible. In short, it felt like it was a Mango Quesadilla.

Finally, something worthwhile! This two-blue burger was something I dearly appreciated! The salty and creamy taste of the blue-cheese gave more flavor to the patty resulting to a foodgasmic experience! Definitely a must-try for those who appreciate the taste of blue cheese.

Wow, I had high hopes on this one, but it nearly broke my heart because of the over-toasted bread. It just took away the enjoyment.

I really adored this dish the last time I had it in Robinsons Ermita. However, this one was not as good, probably due to the slight over-frying, but considering the taste alone, it was great!

Jack Daniel's Salmon || P795
North Antlantic Salmon filet chargrilled and basted with special Jack Daniel's glaze. Served with seasonal vegetables and your choice of cheddar cheese mashed potatoes or rice pilaf.

The number 1 thing I love so much in Fridays was the Jack Daniel's sauce. I consider it a personal ambrosia that do wonders, in a sense that anything it touches becomes delectable! Having this said, I enjoyed this salmon because of this sweet and highly memorable sauce, not to mention the great quality and texture of the salmon. Really exquisite! Sadly, this dish comes with a price.

This one is practically enjoyable for those who enjoy eating cheese! However, I consider this extravagantly expensive, so you may need to really think twice.

I just love this Cajun Pasta because it deviates from the usual pasta I eat. It got this controlled spiciness that kicks up the flavor to near perfection. Also, the creaminess just balances everything out causing me to fall in love each time I take a forkful of this pasta.

It just felt nice knowing that an American-cuisine restaurant still offers a Filipino favorite - Pork Liempo. What you'll love about this dish is the tenderness (well, of course this still depends on the chef; hence, we can never be always sure). As for the taste, Friday's Liempo satisfactorily captured the Filipino liempo we just love!

A Good-Enough Experience

Enjoying in Fridays with Family and Cousins
In terms of food quality and taste (as well as service), I recommend trying out Fridays (this is the reason why we keep on coming back); however, you need to have with a more than sufficient amount of cash for this expensive restaurant. On a more personal note, I think other branches are better than this one.

Tip: Have with you a Premiere Bistro Card, and eat on a Monday to avail of a 30% discount
Budget: at least P500 each (exclusive of drinks and desserts)
