City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City - Hotel Review
City Garden Grand Hotel is the first 4-star hotel of the City Garden Hotels Group, a top choice for business and leisure travelers seeking accommodations in one of Metro Manila's liveliest cities.
When we hear the word "Makati" and associate this with hotels, chances are the word "expensive" also pops out in our heads. Well, we can't blame ourselves for it because this often appears to be true. However, there seem to be a few exceptions to this generalization. One of them is City Garden Grand Hotel, found on the busy street of Kalayaan Avenue in Makati.
In this blog post, I will be sharing with you my experience staying in this hotel while giving more focus on the hotel itself, the room and the food.
The Location
City Garden Grand Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Makati. It's just a few walk way from hot spots like Buddha Bar (read more), 71 Gramercy (read more) and Century City Mall. Convenience stores are also just around the corner, so you won't have much to worry about.
The Hotel
The lobby boasts its simple elegance with its wooden furnish. Walking there gives you a hint already of its class and sophistication. You'll not be surprised why this hotel is recognized as a 4-star hotel. You'll think that it's awesome, but wait 'til you see the rooms!
The Room
This is a Deluxe Room with a king size bed. Its interior has this wide breathable space allowing you to relax at the maximum. Also, since the room provided to us happened to be in the 22nd floor, we have this captivating view of the city. Everything is truly conducive for a relaxing staycation.
The bathroom is also another source of comfort. There is a bath tub to drown all your weariness and tiredness, and rain shower to make you feel like a kid again.
The tub of happiness is truly a great place to just chill and "meditate".
On the roof deck located on 32nd floor, you'll find the Firefly where you may want to have your dinner. You may either go for a buffet or go ala carte. It's a great venue for you to just relax, enjoy a couple of drinks and bask in the glory of sunset. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi are also found on the roof deck, so in case you want to take an evening dip before dinner, you are totally free to do so.
Breakfast buffet is served in Spice Cafe, located on the 7th floor, and you won't believe how great the spread is here. The variety is also considerably diverse. You can have your typical breakfast selections (e.g. bacon, eggs, pancakes, cereals and etc.), or go for something like Chinese (e.g. dimsum, noodles and etc.), Indian (e.g. beef curry, etc.), Italian (e.g. pizza) or American (e.g. mac and cheese). All of these will really make you energized for the day!
Alright, so that's basically all that I can share with you. For more information about City Garden Grand Hotel, you may check out their website at www.citygardengrandhotel.com or dial 888-8181. It's now your turn to experience a great place to stay in Makati!
