C Lounge of Conrad Hotel - glimpse of a glorious sunset

C Lounge is one of the restaurants under Conrad Hotel, and given the name, it's where you can just burn time as you relax. Now, what makes this particular lounge special is the magnificent view you'll get of the bay and the sunset. Let's further explore why C Lounge can be really interesting!

A different perspective of the sunset
Sunset in itself may not be special, since it's a regular phenomenon that you can observe on a day to day basis. However, what makes it special (or different) is the "place" where you are viewing it from. With the great interior and presence of glass windows here in C Lounge, the sunset is made even more pronounced.

The three unique sections of C Lounge
Interestingly C Lounge is designed in such a way that will suit different personality types (or at least your current mood). You'll not find any partitions that "divides" the place, but you'll just really know when you see them yourself.

For those who want to sit back comfortably as you finish a book or anything you need to do with "focus", you might want to stay in this tea section

For those who perhaps want to socialize or enjoy some cocktails, you can opt to stay here in this bar section

For music lovers or those who are looking for some refreshing entertainment, this entertainment section would be great for you

Enjoying the afternoon tea
We were invited to try the Afternoon Tea Set here in C Lounge, and it was a perfect opportunity to just think about life a little bit. This set is available daily from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM only.

For this set, the white chocolate & mango test tubes and the lapu-lapu Ceviche are those that you can certainly look forward to!

The set comes with a pot of Harney & Sons Tea. There are 11 varieties to choose from depending on the taste suitable for your palate. For our case, we chose the English Breakfast which was rich and dense in flavor! It really went well with the milk creating a velvety refreshing drink.

In case you are not the type who enjoys tea, there are alternatives available for you. Care to take a sip?
Mangga-rita (P350) Caribe Colada (P350) and Sampaloc Sake-Jito (P400). Items from left to right of the photos below.

Interestingly, C Lounge prides itself in cocktails, as there is a wide range of selection available; hence, you have the liberty to choose the one that suits your mood and/or preference. The ideas infused in the drinks are also creative. The ones above are samples of those reinventions and innovations.

C Lounge is a worthwhile place to just relax and unwind as you sip a drink or two. The ambiance has this homey feel despite the sophistication in the air, but what really makes it special here is the amazing view of the bay that glistens as the sun bids its goodbye. This is why C Lounge makes a great dating place and/or a "soshal" barkada hangout venue.
