Korean Manor Buffet's P399 Unlimited Samgyupsal + Hotpot

Korean Manor Buffet - Unlimited Samgyupsal and Shabu-Shabu in Baguio

For our 3rd barkada getaway in Baguio, we decided to try a less popular Korean buffet place nearer the place we were staying. Honestly, both Kung Jeon (read more) and this new one we tried called Korean Manor Buffet are within walking distance, but since we wanted to go for some hotpot as well, we decided to try this instead.

A home-grilling experience
The ambiance has a stark similarity with that of Kung Jeon, since both seemed to have turned a home into a restaurant. However, we noticed that Korean Manor Buffet has more free and open spaces allowing the air to circulate better. The "Christmas lights" seem to also add some adorable touch to the scene.

One of the interesting difference with Kung Jeon is that they serve ingredients for hotpot, and of course there is a "hot pot" where you put anything you'd like. Your imagination and culinary prowess will define the taste of your soup, so experiment well.

Here are some of the sauces you can either use for your shabu-shabu or your samgyupsal. (I generally call everything grillable as samgyupsal, although this is incorrect.)

Of course, your voracious foodies won't disappoint with the collection of grillables here in Korean Manor Buffet. You'll really grill-and-eat your heart out.

Again, the other star in this restaurant is the hotpot. So, if you want to be "slightly healthier", just go for this, and warm your hearts out with the soup. You can even literally do so by adding some Korean sauce into the soup. It magically converts it to a fiery one!

The buffet experience here in Korean Manor Buffet is definitely an upgrade from that of in Kung Jeon especially with better ventilation and the addition of the hotpot. In other words, there is finally a great alternative to the more popular Kung Jeon, and who knows, you might like it better too!
