Gelato and Coffee in Caffe Ti Amo, Greenbelt 5
When we found ourselves craving for some dessert, we couldn't decide where to have it, but when someone blurted out Caffe Ti Amo, everyone agreed. Finally, I was able to give this place a try, and I ended up ticking off another box in my imaginary list of "Restaurants to try in Greenbelt 5".
A sanctuary and a home
The most inviting thing about Caffe Ti Amo is its cozy and homey ambiance. Each time I walk by the cafe and take a glance, I feel the peace from the outside. It's like calling me to just sit back, enjoy some coffee and perhaps a cup of gelato. Everything seems fast-paced, but here in Caffe Ti Amo is an exception. It feels like time begins to slow when I'm inside. It's definitely a sanctuary -- a home even.
An Italian-inspired cafe
The name itself gives away the inspiration behind the concept and the food served. Menu is limited to something light, ideal for snacks. There are sandwiches, pasta dishes, gelato and of course coffee. On my first visit, we just had gelato, but since I wanted to blog more about the cafe, I came back a day after to try out the sandwich and the pasta.
The Chunky Chicken Sandwich (P130) was nicely prepared reminding you of what our moms usually serve us either for breakfast or baon. The chicken was indeed chunky -- great for relaxing as you chew down goodness
The Beef Lasagna (P185) had this very appetizing appearance, but sadly the herby tang was overwhelming to a point that it caused distraction.
Gelatos are probably where Caffe Ti Amo is more known for. They have variety of flavors to choose from which is sub-grouped into two -- (1) classic and (2) gourmet. You may also choose among 4 sizes: regular/ medium/ large/ tub with prices of P105/ P145/ P185/ P440 respectively for classic and P140/ P189/ P245/ P555 for gourmet.
The Sandwich Frost (P75 - classic) was quite lovely as it combined two of my favorite desserts -- cookie and ice cream! It may not be as photogenic with how it was plated, but it certainly tasted so good!
Some of the interesting flavors we tried were as follows:
- Four Cheese - Perfect for cheese lovers! You will love how the cheese essence comes in a smooth velvety texture.
- Dark Chocolate - Deep and rich!
- Pistachio - Great for those who like milder flavors and into nutty flavor

Caffe Ti Amo is an extremely fine cafe especially with how peaceful the ambiance is. Perfect for those who just want to slow down amidst the extremely busy working life in Makati, and enjoy some gelato and/or coffee.
