Peri-Peri Chicken with its 9+ Sauces in Greenbelt, Makati
This post has been long overdue, since it was on my birthday when I decided to check this place out with my friends. Initially, I was hearing somewhat negative to neutral comment regarding the restaurant, but one of my office mates suggested it for us to try. I took her word for it, so the next thing we knew, we were already walking our way there.
Enchong Dee as the endorser
I find it amusing to see Enchong Dee’s life-size standee to be “greeting” us – shirtless. I was pondering whether it is appropriate to have such image at the front of the restaurant, but I guess people won’t mind – well my office mates all did not. (The photo above is not the photo I mentioned)
Festive and colorful interior
The interior of Peri-Peri has this ranch feels mixed with festive tones, such as the colored bottle near the glass wall of the restaurant. The wooden element in the design adds a layer of comfort for the diners.
This branch has a relatively huge seating capacity, so you won't worry about being seated here in the restaurant. It's great as well if you are bringing a huge group with you.
Peri Grupo
Group meal is available here in Peri-Peri Chicken. Prices range from P1,850 to P2,485. All Peri Grupo meals come with 4 bowls of Chicken Soup, 4 servings of java rice, 2 orders of coleslaw, 2 orders of corn and carrots and 4 glasses of house blend iced tea.
The one we ordered was Colombia (P1,850) which includes 1 whole Peri-Peri chicken, mozzarella sticks, shrimp salad and el fuego dessert.
The shrimp salad was refreshing especially with its fresh greens and fruits. The dressing was tangy and creamy.
I loved the mozzarella sticks here in Peri-Peri -- the cheese was generous and it went well with the marinara sauce.
Aside from the Peri Grupo, we also ordered a Pepperoni Family Size (P320). Although I didn't find the crust to be that appealing due to its lack of tenderness, the sauce and the toppings were all incredible, sufficient enough to compensate the crust.
The Peri-Peri chicken was a stunner with its richly spiced flavors, all of which effectively seeped into the meat fibers. Best of all, you can further spice things up with different sauces. Mix and match to fit your mood and taste preference!
The group meal came with this el fuego dessert. If you are curious as to what this dessert is made of, it's basically chocolate cake topped with ice cream and poured with melted marshmallow. It was then torched to add final touches. The result? Well, it appeals to the sweet buds, but it can be overwhelmingly sweet. Hence, I suggest you definitely help each other out in finishing this.
Don't worry, you'll love the chocolate goodness of the cake and the blend of vanilla ice cream.

Peri-Peri certainly did not disappoint. All the dishes ranged from highly satisfactory to excellent. Prices, on the other hand, may not be that affordable compared to Gringo. Overall, this restaurant makes a great place for a large group of people to feast in.
