Samgyupsalamat Unlimited BBQ in Alabang Town Center
Unlimited Samgyupsal just took Metro Manila food scene by storm, and we see more and more branches popping out everyone. Sometimes, it's literally in every corner. Would you even believe that Samgyupsalamat has reached Alabang Town Center? Yes, apparently they are now moving down south, and foodies there are rejoicing. Let's have a look at this branch.
Located at the ground floor (in front of Cabalen and near the entrance to the Cinemas), Samgyupsalamat is now servicing south foodies the much-craved unlimited Korean BBQ. Unfortunately, just like any other branches of the same restaurant, expect long lines before you get seated. In our case, we went there on a Sunday at about 2:00 PM. However, we got seated past 3:00 PM.
Interestingly, the line was shorter between 4:00 - 5:00 PM, so I guess you can take advantage of that window period.
Samgyupsal ATC's Limited Seating Capacity
I've counted the seats, and the result of my observation is this. There are about 14 tables here. Each can sit 4-5 people. Multiplying those two numbers, and we can have a total seating capacity of 56-70 people. This is a relatively low number compared to other branches, so you can expect longer waiting time when you dine here. Also, considering that a group takes at an average 2 hours to finish dining, you'll really wait no shorter than 1 hour.
For the side dishes which are all unlimited as well, they have marbled potatoes, kimchi, japchae, steamed egg and spicy veggies. One thing that I didn't see was the "dilis" which is common for other samgyupsal places.
Although it was Romantic Baboy (read more) which reportedly started the addition of "Cheese Sauce", Samgyupsalamat stepped up its game by not only providing cheese but also adding Mang Tomas for those who want some Pinoy touch for their samgyupsal and other grilled meat.
Rates/Prices of Unlimited Samgyupsal
Samgyupsalamat seem to have almost universal pricing for all its branches. Rate is P449 for Unlimited Pork and P499 for Unlimited Pork + Beef. I'm not sure if this applies to other branches, but on Weekday Lunch (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM), you'll get P50 off from both rates. Hence, the price will be P399 for Unlimited Pork and P449 for Unlimited Pork + Beef.

Samgyupsalamat being the one who started this samgyupsal craze, maintains a great set of standards when it comes the quality of the meat. The lettuce we had was all crisp and fresh, which made the experience very worthwhile. Service is relatively quick, since the servers tend to be responsive. The only downside is the longer waiting time given the limited seating capacity in the restaurant, but other than that you'll enjoy the samgyupsal experience.
